Lakewood Church | Good Friday Service | April 3, 2026 ((music playing)) ((music playing)) You fight the battle. You get the glory. Here come the angels. Here comes the victory. The enemy is outnumbered. ((music playing)) You fight the battle. ((music playing)) I wish I could tell you. Wish I could describe it, but I can't contain it. Can't keep it to myself. There aren't enough colors to paint the whole picture. Not enough words to ever say what I found. Wonderful and beautiful and glorious and holy. He is merciful and powerful. Who we talking about? That's my king. We declare the glory. Give him all the honor. He's all together worthy. Who we talking about? That's my king. There's no one before you. Yes, we will adore you. All of this is for you. Who we talking about? That's my king. Jesus, you're my king. ((music playing)) I'm not letting the rocks cry without joining the chorus. There aren't enough notes to make the harmony. It's the song of the angels. For all of the ages. It's all of earth and heaven's symphony. Wonderful and beautiful and glorious and holy. He is merciful and powerful. Who we talking about? That's my king. We declare the glory. ((music playing)) He's all together worthy. Who we talking about? That's my king. ((music playing)) king. That's my rock. That's my shepherd, my protector. That's my king. That's my rock. That's my anchor, my defender. That's my king. That's my rock. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) my protector. That's my king. That's my rock. That's my anchor, my defender. Who we talking about? Hey, we declare the glory and give him all the honor. He's all together worthy. Who we talking about? Hey, we declare the glory and give him all the honor. He's all together worthy. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) Hey everyone, welcome tonight. So glad to have you. Are you ready to worship the Lord tonight on a—you know, we call it a good Friday cuz we know the end of the story. You know, he didn't stay in the grave, but he came out. And we're here to celebrate all weekend what Jesus did for each one of us. And I love that thought. Because he lives, we can live also. and we can live an abundant life. We love you guys. Thanks for coming out. And it's always better to be together. And so just looking forward to a great night and just um I know your heart is open and your heart is grateful and just thinking about the goodness of God, the mercy of God, the price Jesus paid. And again, we're grateful people and we're grateful to have you out here tonight. God bless you all. Amen. You guys look amazing tonight. Thank you'all for being here celebrating this Good Friday. And aren't you glad that we know the full story? What looked bad, what looked dark, what looked like a defeat became the greatest victory. You know, ain't that amazing? I mean, if you live in that time, you were sad if you were a follower of Jesus. But you know what it reminds me of? And it reminds me that God's still working. Even when they didn't see it, God was still working. And we need to pause and realize sometimes we don't always see it. We may be in a waiting place. We may be in a moment of darkness. We may be in a hard place, but that doesn't mean it's over. It means God is still on the move and he's still working. And that's what this Good Friday represents. So this morning, so this evening, if you are thinking, "Wow, I wonder if God hears my prayers. I wonder," you can guarantee after this service that God is still alive and he's still working and Sunday is on the way. Amen. Amen. Let's let's open up in prayer. Father, we thank you for this amazing time together. Thank you that we can live in this day and age and that we can carry your spirit throughout the earth. That father, our lives can be a representative of who you are and that you are the living God. So father we thank you that tonight that our heart is open. We want to hear from you. We want to be moved by you. We want our faith built in you and so our eyes are on you. We thank you for what you've done. We thank you for the resurrection. We thank you that the the bad Friday was turned into a good Friday and that's where we put our hope and it's in Jesus Christ. And everyone said, "Amen." ((music playing)) A thousand generations falling down in worship to sing the Song of ages to the land. And all who've gone before us and all who will believe will sing the song of ages to the lamb. Your name is the highest. Your name is the greatest. Your name stands above them all. All thrones and dominions, all powers and positions. Your name stands above them all. And the angels cry, holy. All creation cries, holy. You are lifted high. Holy, holy forever. Yes, you are Lord. And if you've been forgiven, and if you've been redeemed, sing the song forever to the Lamb. And if you walk in freedom, and if you bear his name, sing the song forever ((music playing)) We will sing the song forever and amen. ((music playing)) All creation ((music playing)) You are lifted ((music playing)) ((music playing)) your people ((music playing)) We ((music playing)) To the king of kings ((music playing)) You ((music playing)) holy forever. ((music playing)) Jesus your name is the highest. Your is the greatest. Your name stands above them all. All thrones and dominions, all powers and positions. One name stands above them all. We sing. Your name is the highest. Your name is the greatest. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) You will always be holy holy forever. We worship you Lord cuz you will always be holy, holy forever. ((music playing)) Light of the world, you step down into darkness. Open my eyes. Let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore you. Hope of a life spent with you. Here I am. So here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that you're my God. You're all together lovely, all together worthy, all together wonderful to me. Here I am. Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say—here I am to say that you're my God. You're all together lovely. You're worthy. All together worthy. All together ((music playing)) Here I am. Here I am. Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that you're my ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) I'll never know. I'll never ((music playing)) ((music playing)) Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow. Here I am to say that you're my God. You're all together lovely. All together worthy. All together wonderful— Can you sing it one more time, church? Here I am to ((music playing)) say that you're my God—can have it all. ((music playing)) We can have it all together. You're all together wonderful ((music playing)) cuz you worthy of it all. ((music playing)) You're worthy of it all. ((music playing)) ((applause)) ((music playing)) You deserve the glory. Oh, you are ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) For from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve ((music playing)) Thank you Lord. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) All my Words fall short. I've got nothing new. How could I express all my gratitude? I could sing these songs as I often do, but every song must end. And you never do. So I throw up my hands and praise you again and again. Cuz all that I have is a hallelujah. Hallelujah. I know it's not much, but I've nothing else fit for a king except for a heart singing hallelujah. Hallelujah. I got one response. I got just one move with my arms stretched wide. I will worship you. Oh, so I throw up my hands and praise you again and again. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) I know it's not much, but I've nothing ((music playing)) Oh, so come on my soul. Oh, don't you get shy on me. Lift up your song cuz you got a lion inside of those lungs. Get up and praise the Lord. Oh, come on my soul. Oh, don't you shy on me. Oh, lift up your soul. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) Lord Jesus, we come today to this place to worship you full of gratitude because of what you did for us on the cross. We bless your name. We bless you Lord Jesus. We bless you Lord Jesus. We bless you Lord Jesus. We worship you and you alone. We thank you because you stepped down from heaven to take us out of hell. You stretch out your hands on the cross so that we can lift up our hands and worship you today. You were stripped of your clothes so that I can be dressed in your righteousness, your innocence, and your light. You died alone so that I can walk as a friend of God in the company of angels and belonging to a family. You were cursed on that cross so that I can be blessed as your son. You cry out for help and nobody was there. So that every single time I cry, I have your ears in your heart listening. You were despised as a sinner so that I can be accepted as a loving son and daughter. You died in darkness that that I can live in the light of your love. How could I not praise and worship you? Nobody has loved me to death like you did. So we worship you today. We honor what you did and we believe what you accomplished on that cross is more than enough for me. Your blood is more than enough. You cleanse the stain of sin. You are more than enough for me. You took away my guilt and you gave me grace and hope so that I can worship you and serve you. And we commit ourselves to you today to live in a way that honor your death. And we dedicate ourselves to you. And we believe that anything that we may ever need, you have for us supplied already in that cross. And we lift you up today. And we honor you. And from you we receive restoration, peace, strength, joy, peace, abundance, healing by the mighty name of Jesus. Who says amen today? You may be seated and we'll continue worshiping God. Man of sorrows. Lamb of God, by his own betrayed, the sin of man and wrath of God has been on Jesus laid. Silent as he stood accused, beaten mocked and scorned, bowing to the father's will. He took a crown of thorns. Oh, that rugged cross my salvation where your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out hallelujah. Praise and honor to thee. Sent of heaven, God's own son, to purchase and redeem and reconcile the very ones that nailed him to that tree. Oh that rugged cross my salvation where your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out hallelujah. Praise and honor unto thee. Now my debt is paid. It is paid in full by the precious blood that my Jesus spilled. Now the curse of sin has no hold on me. Whom the son set free. Oh is free and indeed. Now my debt is great. It is paid in full by the preious blood that my Jesus filled. Now the curse of sin has no hold on me. Who the sun sets free, oh ((music playing)) ((music playing)) over me. Now my soul cries out. Hallelujah. Praise and honor unto thee. See the stone is rolled away. Behold the empty tomb. Hallelujah, God be praised. He's raising from the grave. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) my soul cries out. Hallelujah. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) Amen. Beautiful. What a great night tonight. I'm so excited to share a story with you tonight about the Good Friday. But before I do that, I wanted to take a moment and I just felt like I wanted to give honor to you tonight and for this incredible church. Uh this summer will mark about 24 years that Jeannie and I came into covenant through this incredible destiny moment that Pastor Joel and Victoria and I had Jeannie and I had. And it has been an incredible ride watching the last 26 years of God taking Lakewood Church and literally bringing the revival of hope to the world. And I just wanted to take a moment to just say first of all a great honor to Pastor Joel and Victoria for really stepping into a time where history will show. And you know one thing about the Osteen's, they they don't brag. They don't talk about what they do, but that's my job. But what God has done in their life and through this church has been amazing to see so many lives touched with over 200 nights of hope and over two and a half million people in person giving themselves to the Lord. To watch nearly a million people connected to local Bible church believing churches and even today to see that nearly 50 million people each month. And these numbers are big, but each one of them are precious souls. And the Bible tells us that the person that brings water to the prophet and the prophet that does the work of the Lord are the same. That they all receive the same reward. So I want to say to Lakewood Church, thank you. Thank you for the sacrifice and the love that you have shown, not only to Houston, but to the world. Give yourself a hand. Clap today. You have truly made a difference. And that's not counting the people that watch on television and that listen to Sirius XM 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And I happen to know two people that have watched the TV program and given their heart to the Lord. One of them was my own son. And so I thank God for that. I have a a dear place in my heart for television ministry. And then my even my cousin who after going through a dark place surrendered his life to Christ watching Joel Osteen on a Sunday afternoon. So Lakewood, thank God for what he's doing. And Pastor Joel and Victoria, we love you. I mentioned my wife. This Wednesday night, Jeannie and I will have completed 48 years of marriage. Jeannie, thanks for sticking with me, girl. This Good Friday is my 70th Good Friday on the earth. And I I can tell you honestly, I've never felt more excited and more convinced and convicted with such passion and why we celebrate and why we call Friday good. And I want to tell you a story. It's based upon one of David's songs, hit number 24, Psalms 24, written 3,000 years ago. David wrote this song and he said these words, "Who shall ascend unto the hill of the Lord? Who shall stand in his holy place?" And that cry, David made a plead that with all of humanity having had eternity placed in all of our hearts, there's always been a cry from humanity to reconnect with divinity. And mountains and hills are so majestic and become such a metaphor of earth touching heaven. mountains and their majesty and their glory represent this incredible desire to connect with God. Be it the table the tower of babel or be it Moses ascending to the mountain. Mountains always represent the presence of God. And David cries out, who can ascend to the mountain, to the hill of the Lord? And the answer is not very inspiring because it says those that have pure hearts and have holy hands. And that disqualifies most of us, doesn't it? reminds me of of all of the quest of mountains. Mount Everest, known as the tallest mountain on the earth. A mountain that over the years many people have attempted to climb and to assault its height. Many have died in their attempt. But in 1953 on May 29th, two gentlemen did what was nearly impossible. They ascended to Mount Everest. And in that glorious day, it was truly something to celebrate. But their feet was not complete because with the help of experts and trained people and personnel as they descended down that great mountain, they put hooks and anchored and embedded ropes and a means for every step down descending so that others could ascend and accomplish that great adventure for themsel. self. That was the real victory, the real glory of what they achieved. Which brings me to a scripture that I never really understood until just a few days ago found in Ephesians chapter 4. And Paul writes, "He who has descended first into the lower parts of the earth and ascended far above all the heavens." One translation says, "He who ascended first descended." And the story of Good Friday is that Jesus descended from the mount of God and gave us access to him through that descending. How low would he go? How far would he go? The Bible tells us that he descended first as a son. God became flesh. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and the word became flesh. Think about that. God became human. God became flesh. He who created the universe would surrender himself to that small DNA strand so small that it would get lost on a pin head and by the Holy Spirit would pierce through the virgin womb of Mary. God would become one of us and the very Mary that he made now he was being formed and made in Mary. God became son. He became human. And having emptied himself of his deity, he took on humanity. Look at him. He who held the universe in his hands is now being held by his mother. He who is the bread of life now hungers. He who is the fountain of living waters reaches independence for his mother to feed and nurture him. Watch him crawl. Watch him fall. Watch him struggle to grow up and to be human. Maybe for a moment he would love to slip out of his divinity and cheat a bit so he could be more human without the struggle. But the Bible says that Christ became fully human by means of learning even by the way he suffered. Oh that God would become one of us that God would become a son. I love the classic hymn down from his glory ever living story. My God and Savior came and Jesus was his name. Born in a manger to his own, a stranger, a man of sorrow, grief, and agony. And the song goes on. Oh, how I love him. How I adore him, my breath, my sunshine, my all in all. The great creator became my savior. and all God's fullness dwelt in in him. How far would he descend? He became human. But that's not all. He descended even lower. The Bible says that he became a sibling. He became a brother. The scripture says he was not ashamed to say, "I'm a brother." What did that mean? That meant that Jesus was willing to engage in relationships with brothers and with sisters, with mother and father, with friends. You would think that he could avoid the complexity of relationships. But Christ indeed came to in fact wrestle with the complex complexities of betrayal and hurt and misunderstanding. He knew what it was like to take the risk to be a friend, to be betrayed by a friend. And when Lazarus died, they came to Jesus and said, "Your friend Lazarus is dead." And it broke his heart. He had already talked to the father and the father said, "I will raise him up." But as a human, for those moments, he grieved like a mother over the child, over a father, over a brother, over a son, a daughter. The Bible says he wept. Yeah, he became a son. He became a sibling. But that wasn't enough. He kept descending and became what the Bible says, a servant. God Almighty became a servant. The Lord of all was now surrendering himself to the life of being a servant. Watch him now. He's in the upper room. Where is he? He's on his knees. He's got a basin of water and he's washing the feet. He who formed men from the dust of the earth is now washing the dust off of the feet of his disciples. Not afraid to serve, not afraid to identify as a servant. How low would he go? How far would he descend? The Bible says that he became the sacrificial lamb. Oh God, what have you done? You have surrendered yourself and descended into a lamb. A sheep. A sheep is the most vulnerable animal. Defenseless. A precious lamb that must be guided, must be led. He became the sacrificial lamb. The Bible says that like a dumb lamb, he opened not his mouth and was led through the process of a mock trial, of a scourging, of a beating. Like a sheep to the slaughter, he surrendered. How low would he go? How far would he descend? He became the sacrificial lamb. And on that cross that history records as the most excruciating torture of any human being of any age. In fact, excruciating comes from the word execution, crucifixion. For all agree nothing was more horrific than to take a human body and pin it against the tree and pierce the feet to the cross. And they're stretched between mockery and mercy, between accusation and atonement, between two thieves. Jesus surrendered himself. How far will you go? To the cross he went. The Bible says that he became our sin, not committing sin ever. He was holy. He was pure. And yet in that moment, he became sin. So much so that the prophet Isaiah said that God could not even look at the reflection of the sin that Jesus had taken on. Think of it. the rapist, the abuser, the murderers. Think of the worst human sins possible. And Jesus took that on the cross. So much so that the Bible says that God smoked him. And for the first time, Jesus in all of his prayers would always address God as father, father. But no, not now. In that moment, the very God who was with God is God now feels separation from God and he cries, "My God, my God, why why have you forsaken me?" That's how low he descended. Would he go lower? Oh, he will leave no one behind. He who ascended first descended. And now having made peace, now he goes back to calling God what he's always called them. And he says in his last words, "Father, Father, forgive them. They don't know what they're doing." And he gives up the ghost. And he dies at that moment. She hell Hades in the Greek. Hell is stunned that God became flesh. He became a sibling. He became a servant. He became a lamb. But would he take it so far as to die? And yes, he did. Now Jesus is ushered through the gates of Hades. The smell of corruption and death. The stench of death fills the room, fills the dark place. Hell is stunned but yet rejoicing. Cuz death is their turf. The wages of sin is death. Death is where we rule and reign. Why would God submit himself to die? But for three days he descended into death until every part of him was completely dead. But on the third day, on the third day, about the time hell was about to have a big party, there was a rumbling that took place. And in that rumbling, Jesus rose up from the dead. And when he did, he declared victory. Victory over death. He released the spirits of just men. And he preached the gospel to the disobedient. And death that had held mankind, death that controlled mankind. Hebrews says that the fear of death kept man in bondage. Jesus broke the chains, grabbed the keys of death and of hell, and said, "Satan, you can no longer have humanity." But his feet was not complete because just like those mountain climbers who had on their descent put the hooks and anchored them into the rock and embedded the rope so that others could ascend to the top of Mount Everest. Christ in his dissension made a way that you and I could ascend. That you and I would no longer be afraid of death. Oh no, death now is just the transportation between this life and eternal life. We have no fear though we walk through the valley. No, we have ascended ascended to the cross. Stare at it now today when we get ready to take communion. Pause. Hold steady. Look at that cross. Christ became sin so you could be righteous. He became something he never did so that you could be something you could never be. Hold to that cross. Cling to that cross. But do not stop. Ascend, my brothers and sisters, for now you would step up and become a servant. And now as a servant, you would recognize that those that are the greatest on the earth are the servants. Get ready to rise in success. Get ready to have influence. Get ready to rise in every bit of your dreams because he who knows how to serve shall be the greatest. Ah, but don't stop there. Keep climbing. keep ascending because now you are not just a servant. But Jesus said, "Hithermore, I will no longer call you servants, but I shall call you friend." A servant knows not what his master should do, but ascend my brothers and sisters. You are a friend of God. I can hear it now. I am a friend of God. I am a friend of God. Ascend, my brothers and sisters. Don't stop there. Keep climbing. Because now as many as received him, gave he them power to become the sons of God. And as Christ was a son in the flesh, so you and I can walk this life with power, with authority, with a confidence. We have his name. We have his DNA. We can proclaim we are children of the most high God. Ascend my brother. Ascend my sister. And as Christ ascended and is seated at the right hand of the father, Ephesians tells us that because we identify with him, we have been raised up. We have been raised up. Hold to that rope. Get your faith built up because the Bible tells us that you have a seat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Far above all authority, far above all power, all dominions and all thrones. You have ascended to become children of the most high God. Yeah. He who ascended first descended son sibling servant sacrifice shell hell itself took the keys and says now I'm making a way for you to ascend. We call Friday good because he who descended has now made a way for us to ascend. Thank you. Thank you. Somebody give God praise right now. Thank you. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the cross. Behold the lamb of God who takes away our sin. Our each and every breath belongs to him. Behold the emblem of the greatest love there is. A million songs fall short but still we sing. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the cross. Salvation is secure. It stands forever more. Thank God for the cross. Amen. Give God praise today. ((music playing)) Behold the lamb of God who takes away our sin. Our each and every breath belongs to him. Behold emblem of the greatest love there is. A million songs fall short, but still we sing. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the cross. Salvation is secure. It stands forever more. Thank you for the cross. The wage of sin is paid. The curse of shame stamped out when Jesus' blameless blood fell to the ground. And even to this day, it speaks a better word of grace pored out despite what we deserve. Thank you ((music playing)) Thank you for the cross. Salvation is secure. It stands forever more. Thank you for the cross. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) You may be seated. What an amazing service so far. And now we get to top it off with taking communion together, the Lord's supper. And so maybe you've already received the the uh juice and the bread. But do you know the Bible teaches us that communion is a sacred time where we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. When he sat with his disciples, he served them the the wine. He broke bread with them. And then he said this, "Do this often in remembrance of me. Don't forget that I went to the cross. Don't forget that I saved you from your sins, that I secured your eternity in heaven. do this in remembrance of me. And so today we remember that Jesus was crucified for us. Remember that he shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sins. He died so that we could live. That's what Jesus did on the cross. The shed blood of Jesus speaks of a better word. It speaks of the cleansing power of Jesus. We are no longer sinners. We are children of the most high God. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The blood of Jesus speaks of a better word. We've been brought near. The Bible says we've been brought near to God. Return to God by the blood of Jesus. Jesus became our great high priest. Our mediator who represents us before the father. But you know what's amazing is that you know in the Old Testament when the people sinned, it took a priest, the the high priest to go into the Holy of Holies every year to sacrifice an animal, a lamb for the remission or the atonement of their sins. That's the way their sins were atoned for or maybe just say the word covered. They were covered. But when Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for us, at that moment that that curtain, that veil that was so thick and heavy, it tore into by the power of God and it was signifying God was saying forever that now you have access to me. You don't need a man to pray for you. You don't need a man to offer sacrifices for your sins. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. He was the lamb of God that took away our sins. And so you have full access, full access to God. We have not because we asked. Come boldly into his throne of grace to find help and mercy in your time of need. Jesus blood gave us access. Amen. You can lift up the cup and let's partake in just a so a second. Jesus, we thank you for your blood. We thank you for your sacrifice. We thank you that you were willing to be stripped and and beaten and crucified for the forgiveness of our sins. We take this in remembrance of you in Jesus name. You know, I think about how Pastor Phil said it, but when Jesus hung on that cross, oh, he could have had so much hate. He could have had so much malice in his heart. But he looked out and he said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." That's the kind of forgiveness Jesus offers you. You may say, "I've done too much." No. Jesus offers you that same kind of forgiveness. I think about how he hung between two criminals and they both deserve the penalty because of their actions. And one persecuted Jesus and made fun of him, but the other one who had lived a life full of sin and hurt and crime looked at Jesus and said, "Jesus, remember me today when you're in heaven." And you know what Jesus did? He didn't he didn't condemn him. He didn't heap insults on him. He said, "Today you will be with me in paradise." That's the kind of forgiveness that Jesus offers us. Listen, you you never know. Sometimes people wonder about their their relatives that have gone on, have died before them, and did they accept Jesus? Did they not? They don't know. You don't you worry about it. But let me just tell you something. You never know what a person does on their deathbed. And you can be sure if they cried out to God, God answered them. That's the kind of God we serve. When Jesus broke bread with his disciples, he said, "This is my body that was broken for you." He endured 39 cruel stripes on his back for us. And the Bible says, "By his stripes, we have been healed." And that healing means healing in our spirit. We're a new creature in Christ Jesus. It means healing in our body of sickness and disease. It means healing in our mind and soul and emotions. Jesus is the healer. The body broken represents that Jesus body was broken for you and for me. Isaiah 53:4 and 5 says this, "But he was wounded." First of all, let me say this. Listen to how many times this passage says our when it when I say this it's saying me G. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon him. And by his stripes we are healed. The sinless son of God was was crucified for sinful man. He died so that we could live. Lift up the bread and you can break it. You can partake of it. Jesus, we remember you that your body was broken for us. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for your willingness to become a man, to live on this earth, to identify with us. Thank you for being willing to put up with all the persecution and ridicule. Thank you for being willing to go to the cross. Thank you for w being willing to go into hell and to get us the keys of death and hell to give us the authority over the evil one. Thank you that you rose again and you now live in heaven, sitting at the right hand of God, ever interceding for us. You represent us, Jesus, in heaven. And we thank you for the cross. We thank you for your sacrifice. We thank you for the crucifixion in Jesus name. Amen. Everybody said, "Amen." Come on church, we declare this out together cuz it is finished. If you said it then it's done. Thank you Jesus. For your love has overcome. It is finished. If you say it then it's done. Thank you Jesus. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) Thank you ((music playing)) Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the cross. Salvation is secure. It stands forever more. Thank you for the cross. ((music playing)) ((applause)) Amen. Remain standing if you would, but if you would, let's close our eyes, bow our heads, and we never take for granted that there are people here that maybe have never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And I'm going to give you that opportunity to meet Jesus today. to receive his forgiveness, to to let go of your past and take hold of the new that Jesus has for you. And so I invite you today, if you've never asked Jesus to come into your life, to be your Lord and Savior, this is your day. Maybe you've been away from God, you've been in sin and you're sorry for your sin, and you need to rededicate your life to the Lord. This is the time to pray. And so congregation, I'm going to ask you all to pray loudly with me. Father, I invite you into my life. I invite you into my life. I admit that I'm a sinner. I admit I am in need of a savior. And I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins. Jesus, I come just as I am. I invite you to be my Lord and Savior. Take me, mold me, make me into who you want me to be. I want to serve you for the rest of my life in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. If you prayed that prayer, something happened on the inside of you. You became new in your spirit. You have new life.
